RMCG has had a dedicated presence in Tasmania since 2008 when we opened our first office in Penguin in the state’s north west. Since then we have expanded our offices to Hobart and most recently Launceston.
On 1 July 2020, RMCG joined forces with Tasmanian agricultural and natural resource management business AK Consultants to boost our presence and expertise in the agriculture and environment sectors.
AK Consultants, formerly Armstrong Agricultural Services, has been helping rural Tasmanians since 1987. The team, along with RMCG’s existing team of consultants, is committed to providing the highest standard in agricultural and land/water management consulting in Tasmania.
The services we now offer in Tasmania are an expansion on those previously offered by RMCG and AK Consultants respectively. We’ve capitalised on the strengths of each organisation and are fortunate to include the specific expertise that AK Consultants brings to our portfolio, particularly in the areas of natural values assessments, bushfire risk assessments, dam, water and irrigation services, land use planning and Geographic Information Services (GIS).
