Environment Strategy

City of Greater Bendigo

RMCG was engaged by the City of Greater Bendigo to help develop Council’s new Environment Strategy. The Environment Strategy – which encompassed food production, local economy and equity –  is part of a suite of high-level strategies that are shaping Greater Bendigo.

RMCG project managed, wrote and conducted stakeholder engagement to develop a Council wide strategy with input from all other Council departments, the wider Greater Bendigo community, representatives of government agencies, local business owners, and Indigenous organisations. The strategy contained three flagship projects to capture the enthusiasm of local people and organisations. It was enthusiastically endorsed by Council as a tool to ensure the future liveability and health of the region’s communities.
