Waste classification and waste management planning

Our Resource Recovery team produces proactive, tailored waste management plans and strategies to assist our clients in navigating the complexities of the evolving waste industry and transition toward circular economies.

With a focus on compliance, managing risk to human health, environmental sustainability, and risk mitigation, RMCG helps ensure that your waste management practices are both efficient and legally compliant, protecting your business from regulatory risks and penalties.

Our team is well-versed in the complexities of waste regulations and can provide clear guidance on waste categorisation, classification, and disposal options. We assist businesses in sampling and classifying waste streams, conducting necessary assessments, and preparing the required documentation to meet regulatory obligations.

With extensive experience in developing comprehensive waste management plans for both public and private sector clients, RMCG ensures that all strategies align with compliance, sustainability and efficiency. Our expert team collaborates closely with businesses, local governments, waste providers, and other industry stakeholders to assess waste streams, identify reduction opportunities, and design customised strategies for managing waste throughout its lifecycle.

We recognise that waste awareness and education are fundamental to successful waste management planning and the implementation of resource recovery strategies, and we provide robust frameworks for waste data collection and reporting. By integrating industry best practices and regulatory requirements, we help clients achieve their environmental and operational goals while reducing costs and mitigating risks.
