RMCG assisted the Commonwealth Department of Environment and Energy in exploring private sector investments in biodiversity conservation. The study involved developing a framework for understanding the drivers and motivations for these types of investments, and developing nine case studies of different types of private biodiversity investments in the Australian context. The case studies involve assessment of the financial return on investment based on consultation with the investor.
