Estimating the liveability value of investing in Melbourne Water land assets as parks

RMCG applied the Hedonic Pricing Method to estimate the economic value of investing in Melbourne Water’s land assets as parks and playgrounds. By understanding how residential property prices are affected by proximity to parks and playgrounds, we can estimate the property price premium that would be generated by adding community infrastructure to otherwise unused sites.
