Review of the Coorong, Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth Recovery Project

Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (SA)

The Department engaged RMCG to undertake a review of project logics for the Coorong Lower Lakes and Murray Mouth (CLLMM) Recovery Project. The purpose of the review was to help improve the project logics to better demonstrate the contribution of the project to the long-term outcomes. RMCG revised the overall evaluation framework for the project (including mapping of management actions to outcomes); identified key gaps within existing project logics; prepared a revised project logic and Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Improvement (MERI) plan for each management action to address key gaps; provided a suggested approach for the implementation of revised project logics and MERI plans. RMCG consulted with DEWNR project staff and ran a series of workshops to gain a thorough understanding of the CLLMM Recovery Project and to provide guidance to staff in implementing the project logics and MERI plans.
